Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing
At abcam, I lead the global Sales and Marketing organisation responsible for building a market-leading product and service offering of Life science tools and reagents. We strive to create and deliver high standards of customer experience, connecting, supporting and collaborating with our users and partners to accelerate the delivery of scientific and medical breakthroughs. Our passionate, multi-national, multi-lingual team work with the life sciences community in over 130 countries.
The business of science and supporting researchers to do great science has always been my passion. Prior to joining abcam I spent 10 years as Chief Executive of two life science companies: one a contract research organisation specialising in therapeutic antibody discovery, and the other pioneering the development of organs-on-chips as non-animal alternatives in pre-clinical research. I started my career as a licensing officer at Oxford University’s tech transfer office, supporting the commercialisation of intellectual property developed at the university.
I am a chemist by training with degrees from the University of Bristol, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Oxford (DPhil).
I am proud to be involved with a number of organizations and networks that support STEM education and promote women in business, science and technology.
